Bachelor degree and doctorate degree in Philosophy and Romance from Heidelberg University. Professor at the Department of Philosophy, Classics, History of Art and Ideas, University of Oslo. Research director of the Moral Agency subsection of the Centre the Study of Mind in Nature, member of the Royal Norwegian Society of Sciences and Letters and of the Norwegian Society of Science. Visiting Scholar at the Humboldt University, at Oxford University, Cambridge University and Columbia University, among others. Mainly works in the field of Aesthetics and Moral Philosophy, specially on Kant. Author of the books Kants Theorie des reinen Geschmacksurteils and Zeichenprozess und ästhetische Erfahrung.

LAURENT JAFFRO

Doctorate in Philosophy from Paris Nanterre University. Professor of Moral Philosophy at Panthéon-Sorbonne and Senior Research Fellow at the Institut Universitaire de France. Member of PHARE (Philosophie, Histoire et Analyse des Représentations Économiques). Worked as Visiting Scholar at the Université Paris Nanterre, Université Neuchâtel, and Université Blaise Pascal Clermont-Ferrand II. His current interest lies in the psychological and normative dimensions of issues of trust and distrust, blame and forgiveness. His latest book, La couleur du goût. Psychologie et esthétique au siècle de Hume (Paris, 2019), deals with sentimentalist and rationalist approaches to value judgements.

Full professor at Faculty of Architecture, Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism and the Graduate Programs in Visual Arts and Dance at Universidade Federal da Bahia. CNPq productivity researcher. Coordinator of Laboratório Urbano research group, in association with Laboratoire Architecture/Anthropologie (LAA/LA VUE/CNRS ENSA Paris-La-Villette). Author of the books: Les favelas de Rio (2001); Estética da Ginga (2001); Esthétique des favelas (2003); Elogio aos errantes (2012); Fantasmas modernos (2020); and Pensamentos selvagens (2021).

Professor of Philosophy at Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro and one of leading researchers in Nietzsche in Brazil, particularly in the field of Aesthetics. She organized several companion books on Nietzsche, such as Leituras de Zaratustra (2011), Nietzsche e as cartas (2019) and Nietzsche e o riso (2020), and published, amongst others, Nietzsche e a música (1994), Nietzsche educador (2003), Nietzsche, vida como obra de arte (2011), Páginas da vida, páginas da arte (2016) and Passagem nietzscheana (2019).

STEFANIE BUCHENAU

Professor at the Department of German Studies of the Université Paris 8. Her research comprises a wide range of topics on Philosophy and Literature of the 18th Century, such as Aesthetics, Anthropology and Medicine, with a special focus on German Enlightenment. With many published works about Leibniz, Wolff, Baumgarten, Kant, and others, she is the author of The Founding of Aesthetics in the German Enlightenment, The Art of Invention and the Invention of Art (2013) and editor of Médecine et philosophie de la nature humaine, de l’Âge classique aux Lumières (in collaboration with Raphaële Andrault, Claire Crignon and Anne-Lise Rey; 2014) and Esthétiques de l’Aufklärung (in collaboration with Elisabeth Décultot; 2006).

VINICIUS DE FIGUEIREDO
UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DO PARANÁ

Doctorate in Philosophy from Universidade de São Paulo. Professor of Philosophy at Universidade Federal do Paraná. His area of research comprises Aesthetics and Modern Philosophy, with emphasis on Kantian philosophy, its predecessors and influences. Published several papers on authors such as Kant, Rousseau, Diderot, Nietzsche and Cassirer, and translated Kant’s Beobachtungen über das Gefühl des Schönen und Erhabenen into Portuguese.
